The Italian Vogue cover girls reunite on Tyra’s show

Before she lost her mind in the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Tyra Banks sat pretty for Steven Meisel, which landed her a haunting edit in the all-black Italian Vogue issue.

Next month, September 11th to be exact, Tyra will be reuniting with the rest of the black icons and budding stars from the issue on her talk show.

Yesterday, all of the models were photographed releasing balloons during a  NYC street party.

When asked about one of the reasons why black models are getting the same kind of as their white European counterparts, Tyra says “it’s harder for models to land lucrative deals with fashion, make-up and fragrance firms while the big companies turn to beauties like Jennifer Aniston, Eva Mendes and Beyonce Knowles to promote their products.”
