Christian Siriano lands another job!

While I’m still perplexed by judge Tim Gunn’s statement proclaiming that the tiny little man in question will be the next Marc Jacobs of my generation, season four Project Runway winner Christian Siriano is definitely getting opportunities like no other Bravo TV alum before him.

After designing the slightly tragic full-length gown for Kimberly Locke’s American Idol performance a couple of weeks ago and serving up one-of-a-kind creations for one of the poshest LA residents, Siriano has now been tapped by Puma to create a mini 15-piece collection

The first piece — a tight black dress made from deconstructing three existing Puma tanks — was worn by London singer Estelle at a recent red carpet event she attended with the designer.

On his latest project, Siriano tells People magazine: “For me it’s really exciting because it’s great to work with an artist that wants to be more creative and more fashion forward. That’s why I love her. I mean how fabulous is she?”

Wow. Who would have thought a reality television show could birth some real talent? Sure, I probably wouldn’t wear the jersey number, but it is aesthetically pleasing in that whole “fashion forward” way. Plus, the only other Puma collaborators have been Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartny, and Huessin Chaylan, which means Siriano is apart of some pretty fierce company.

Could this mean that he might get a diffusion line with Target? Surprisingly, my fingers are crossed.
