Christina Aguilera: Super Girl and Super Bitch

What’s a full-throttle Brit Brit comeback without her arch nemesis Christina Aguilera on the scene? Boring, of course. Especially if you grew up on TRL in the early 00s and thought the real-life, er, media concocted  rivalry between the two was as epic as that of the intense battle between Robert E. Lee and Ulysess S. Grant. (History majors stand-up!) To be fair, though, this isn’t a true comeback by Xtina. But it’s cool nonetheless that both are back and gearing up to drop new music this holiday season.

Here is the first video off of Christina’s upcoming album greatest hit album, Keeps Gettin’ Better — A Decade of Hits. The name of the tune that the pop singer croons on? Keeps Gettin’ Better! Original, for sure.

Annie Leibovitz longs to take Sarah Palin’s picture

Annie Leibovitz, Conde Nast’s resident trouble-maker, has her sites set on creating yet another photgraphic controversy this year. You know, for old times’ sake.

Her partner-in-crime: Tina Fey! SNL’s star Sarah Palin impersonator.

Of the 30 Rock star, Leibovitz tells Vogue UK, “She’s our modern Lucille Ball. I think it’s amazing how she crossed over – comedy took hold and gave us a comic relief from the election. Because it was dragging on, and dragging on, and dragging on.”

FYI: the legendary photographer has a reason to be smitten with the comedian, Leibovitz just shot Fey for the cover of Vanity Fair.

Hopefully, Fey won’t be wrapped in any type of silk sheet…

‘Mum’ is the word at Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen’s book signing

I’ve never really been too geeked about power moguls Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

I think it has something to do with the fact that they both always come across as smug and incredibly jaded when they rarely interact with any type of media outlet (hello, Oprah!), and yet, the wealth that allows them to carry on in this way was founded on things like bedding sets with their faces on them and horrible holiday movies.

Well, this week they’ve attempted to act as if they’re down with their fans to promote their new book, Influence, but unfortunately, this was too much slumming it for them. They had someone type up a list of nine rules that fans had to obey in order to meet the twins.

The Daily is hiring!

Oh, snap! Someone is looking to throw money at a few PYT looking to work in the fashion industry.

That’s right, folks. The Daily is actually hiring people as all of the banks in New York crumble around them. Crazy, I know.

No word on what they’re looking for exactly but an unhealthy love for Ralph Lauren model Lonneke and a peculiar infatuation with glossy party images couldn’t hurt you case. Oh, yeah! An interesting cover letter and resume is always a plus.
